Pack down day
Almost all the bacon has gone, the bread is just about finished and the fruit bowl is empty. It can only mean one thing... 30 very tired but happy scouts and explorers packing up camp! Planning to get to marsh street at 4pm but will update when we are closer.

Thursday update
Christmas party went well and thankyou to everyone for the secret Santa presents. Dinner was roast turkey, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, stuffing, pigs in blankets and lots of veg. The leaders now have a new found appreciation for those who normally cook dinner in 25 degree temperatures...
Today we have been back on the water again with 3 sessions of rowing and sailing. Everyone has made great progress and we have some great sailors in the group. Particularly well done to those who did backwards sailing and the man overboard drills. As for rowing we have had trips to the other side of the reservoir for ice creams, races and even tug of war...
Tomorrow the scouts have high ropes and the explorers are windsurfing. Now though they are all in bed!

Bike riding and aqua park
The Explorers completed their cycle around the lake, complete with lunch delivered by boat. Scouts enjoying windsurfing and all earned their pulling badge. The aqua park later in the evening was great fun too.
Today we are back on the water sailing and rowing but off slightly early for our Christmas party

Water pictures
More water sessions yesterday followed by pork kebabs and bread & butter pudding. Lots of tired Scouts and Explorers after being on the water from 9am to 7pm.
Today the explorers are off cycling around the lake, we're going to meet them half way at lunchtime with some sandwiches. The scouts are having windsurfing lessons and doing their rowing (pulling) badge. This evening we are on the aqua park and already looking forward to hunters chicken afterwards.
